I agree with this one. However my idea of verifying is to run audits on the tables first and verify that the data is what you expect. Once you have done this, audit the reports/queries etc. I try to do this once a year or so. Sometimes I just open up some of the tables and check that everything looks like it should. That is one advantage to having a neat, tidy and relational database.
