[AccessD] Here we go again

Sunday night my friends drove from Chicago to Appleton without a problem -
until they got to their driveway. They couldn't get up their driveway (and
it isn't much a of a slope).

Last night I had to go over to the in-laws and try to do something about
their icy driveway. Out cat died last year and we had some leftover cat
litter in the garage so I took it along as I couldn't find sand anywhere. I
spread it out and it didn't seem quite right. After I got done with that we
were talking about how it should've worked better than it did and my wife
remembered it was the clumping type of cat litter! Great, shoes get full of
it as you walk over it. At least it's not a slippery as glare ice.

We must be in the same neck of the woods...my son got home at 11:00 pm
last night and could not make it up the driveway into the garage<g>.

Although we've had a bit more then 4' of snow already; 77.8 inches and
counting<g>

We've already had 4' feet of snow this year, so keep it there please. On top
of that it warmed up enough to rain the other day, only for about an hour
though, then the temp dropped back down to near zero again. Everything is
covered in ice - the houses, trees, snow drifts - even the road salt!

Brace yourselves, boys and girls. Another big storm is hitting the Pacific
Northwest. I got off the bus about 5:00 pm, a couple of blocks from my
place. It had been dreary with a dank, cold rain all day. I go into Safeway
for about 15 minutes to pick up some groceries. Walked out of Safeway and
BOOM! White out conditions. And already about 1/4 inch on the ground and
it's sticking, oh yes, it is STICKING.

And you flatlanders will be getting it by about Tuesday or so.

Well there was no help for it -- time for a big pot of pasta (whole grain
rice, very tasty, holds up well in cooking and digests well too) in a thick
tomato sauce with basil and feta. Nothing like the scent of sauteeing red
onion and peppers, is there.

Come on over, but bring your sleeping bags in case you can't make it back
tonight. ;-)

Regards,

Since MS removed the security model from Access 2007, what are you guys
doing to secure a 2007 database?
