Shamil, In the 2005 version there were significant issues between Express and VS. I am not sure whether avoiding the MyComputer and related syntax constructs allowed VS to compile the Express. Then they can work with FE part of project. The only(?) open question for such development environment applicability for our test project - does C# 2008 Express allow to design .NET ReportViewer control reports or not? > > Thank you. > > -- > Shamil > > -----Original Message----- > From: "William Hindman" <wdhindman at dejpolsystems.com> > To: "Access Developers discussion and problem solving"<accessd at databaseadvisors.com> > Date: Sun, 1 Mar 2009 23:41:06 -0500 > Subject: Re: [AccessD] Scrum and C# > >> ...dl VS2008 Express for free instead ...you can't compile dlls or use >> add-ons with it but otherwise you should be able to contribute/participate >> without laying out a few hundred until you're certain its worthwhile for >> you. >> >> William >> >> -------------------------------------------------- >> From: "Mike Mattys" <mmattys at rochester.rr.com> >> Sent: Sunday, March 01, 2009 8:37 PM >> To: "Access Developers discussion and problem solving" >> <accessd at databaseadvisors.com> >> Subject: Re: [AccessD] Scrum and C# >> >>> I have neither. >>> I'll have to visit eBay >>> >>> - >>> Michael R Mattys >>> MapPoint and Database Dev >>> www.mattysconsulting.com >>> - >>> >>> ----- Original Message ----- >>> From: "Gustav Brock" <Gustav at cactus.dk> >>> To: <accessd at databaseadvisors.com> >>> Sent: Sunday, March 01, 2009 4:28 PM >>> Subject: Re: [AccessD] Scrum and C# >>> >>> >>>> Hi Shamil >>>> >>>> I have both VS2005 and VS2008 running, both in Standard version however. >>>> >>>> /gustav >>>> >>>>>>> Gustav at cactus.dk 01-03-2009 22:18:27 >>> >>>> Forwarded from Shamil who has some trouble with his AccessD mail account: >>>> >>>> *- >>>> >>>> Gustav and Mike do you have VS2005? >>>> >>>> >>>> >>>> -- >>>> AccessD mailing list >>>> AccessD at databaseadvisors.com >>>> http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd >>>> Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com >>> -- >>> AccessD mailing list >>> AccessD at databaseadvisors.com >>> http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd >>> Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com >>> >> -- >> AccessD mailing list >> AccessD at databaseadvisors.com >> http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd >> Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com >> >
