Process to create a "Style" in Word 2003
1. Click Format (Alt-O) -> Styles and Formatting (S)
2. Click "New Style"
3. Fill in the Form...
Name: Code Font
Style Type - leave default
Style Based on - leave default
Style for following paragraph: Normal - or whatever
style you choose
Formatting: choose font, Font size, Spacing etc.
You could actually choose to indent the font using the default tab
stop.
Other formatting options:
Paragraph spacing
Tabs
Border
Numbering scheme
At the bottom of Format Options
Select Shortcut Key
There's a field labeled: Press new Shortcut key
Whatever you press, a message will appear telling you the current usage
of the shortcut key you chose
You can change it or accept it.
Once saved - all you need to do is use the shortcut key you created to
apply the "Style"
You can actually set a shortcut key to the Normal Style to revert back
to the New Time Roman
