Hi John, I don't know if this is what's going on with you, but I have one client's VPN that every time I use it, the next time I re-boot my computer I don't get a Gateway - I get an IP Address and Subnet Mask, but no Gateway - so I can't get out to the outside world without doing an ipconfig release and renew - which doesn't always work - sometimes I have to reboot my router. Thought I don't understand and don't want to understand all this stuff I am forced to find work arounds for crazy stuff that doesn't make sense. I hate it too. I don't want to be an auto mechanic - I just want to drive. Manually assigning an IP address does not good in terms of allowing contact with the real world. What a PITA. John W.
