That's not as true as you might think. All run on top of terminal service, but There are other protocols out there that can be used in place of RDP which are more efficient, such as Citrix's. That is why I prefer Hamachi VPN when I can make that work. I have hard IPs and so I can use RD over Hamachi. Hamachi also allows you to browse network shares on the remote computer and even map network shares to local drive letters if you so desire. > > John W.
