Rocky, make sure any object you open is closed and it's variable set to nothing. Access has no idea if it's been called as an automation server or not. When it goes to close, if it sees an open reference, it minimizes to the task bar assuming that another program is not finished with it yet. This happens if I just start the app and click exit from the opening splash screen. I'm pretty sure it has to do with Outlook (which is open all the time on my box). And I remember reading about this on the list years ago. Does anybody know the problem/solution?
