[AccessD] Need for a Map (Image) with Multiple Hot Spots (In the Shape of Countries)

Hi Brad

I don't think there is a method for that. But you could juxtapose or superpose two or more smaller labels calling the same details. For example, New Zealand could be covered by 3 to 5 rectangles while Laos would require a dozen or so.

All,

I have been experimenting with an embedded image on a Form.

I have added labels on top of the image to act as "Hot Spots".

When selected, these labels will be used to "Drill Down" into more details.
This all works very nicely.

My next step is to build a map with "Hot Spots" for Drill Downs.

I would like to start with a world map and add a number of Hot Spots that will enable a user to Drill Down for more details for various countries.

The catch is that Access labels only work nicely for Hot Spots that are rectangles.

It would be ideal if the shape was flexible so that the hot spot could be the shape of a country or group of countries.

Is there a way to do this with Access?

Thanks,
Brad
