[AccessD] Error creating emails in Outlook in Win8 -- SOLVED

Has anyone else verified this within this List?


I don't have that version of windows, I stopped at 7. I wish MS had.

Carolyn's kind of automation task is a ubiquitous (I am tempted to say
vital) one for even casual VBA developers.

1) isn't anyone here who has win 8.1 on their hd (or vm) going to set up a
small test to try to duplicate the problem?

2) can there be any justified reason MS would not be interested in hearing
about this and fixing, if it happens consistently and an Access MVP relayed
it to them?

No takers here? More fun (though less charitable) than the ice bucket
challenge.

If I had windows 8.1 I know I would surely be testing my mailer code...
