Arthur,
If you have any modern version of Office you probably bought it online and the "key" is listed in your Microsoft account. If it's a 365 subscription you don't need a key - its installable via your Microsoft account login. You should make sure you can login tot hat account - always - and protect it with a second form of authentication (SMS, Authentication app, etc).
