[AccessD] What To Do in the Time of COVID

It's definitely fiction and about 30,000 words at this point. My sister
tried to read it and she said she found it too confusing so I don't know if
that's her or the book.
I have written in an ending, but it's by way of the main character being
told what happened -- I will not end it that way -- I will actually have the
main character somehow involved in all that happens. And unfortunately, I
think the mystery's solution is a bit canned -- so I need to find a way to
completely change it or make it less apparent until much closer to the end.

Well, your book will always be there when life presents the right
conditions.
I got a lot of writing done in the fall of 2020 when we went up to a cabin
on the far side of a lake outside Mammoth California. No TV, Internet,
phone, email, people. And the air quality was so bad from the fires to the
west that we spent much of the day inside. Now I know why authors go into
isolation to write. I also treated it like a job - I got up and wrote every
morning - tried for 1000 words or end of a chapter.
Is yours fiction or non?
