Yea, but I was trying to move the license to a new machine.  It wasn't licensed to the new machine.  So I spend $50 for a license for my new machine that can't be moved, or $300 for a license that can, should I ever decide to do so 5 years down the road?

OEM licenses are nothing new.   And if it is cheap enough it still is a
better deal than the non-oem.

For me, this is cheap enough to work.
