What about when Easter Friday or Monday fall on Mar 31, or a Public Holiday falls on a 
weekend and the Friday or Monday is in lieu or ....

Jim's concept of a Date table is the only really viable way to cover all eventualities.

It can built for a specific year according to specific business rules which take into account 
things like the above.
