[Dba-office] interesting Word bug

I'm trying to sort a Word table by fields within a column. If you follow the
instructions at the linked support article, it works as long as the sorted
column is the first one in the table. If it's any other column, I can't get
this to work. 

 

Any insight?

Sort by more than one word or field inside a table column

I knew how to do this, but I don't think I'd tried it on a column other than
the first before today.
