[dba-SQLServer] Fail a DTS Step Based on Query Result?

Is it possible to fail a step in a DTS package delibertaely, based on a value 
returned from a query? I would like to branch differently depending on the 
results of a SQL task, but the only options are on completion, on success, or 
on failure. I don't see a way to do this, but it sure would be convenient.
