Full text indexing is not installed on SQL server by default. You probably
need to run setup again and add the feature.

Subject: [dba-SQLServer] Full-text Indexing

Hi all

I have never wanted to use full text indexing before. I come to try and use
it for the first time and I find I can't... No matter which of my databases
I select, the Full-text Indexing menu item is greyed out. I've searched
Books Online and MSDN. Is there something I'm missing here?

TIA

Roz
