Hi Jim, I've tried using the Database Connection Manager in Power Architect with these the parameters: Connection Name: Express DB Type: SQL Server 2005 Host Name: danwaters\sqlexpress Port: 1433 JDBC URL: jdbc:sqlserver://danwaters\sqlexpress:1433 I also enabled TCP/IP for SQL Server. The first line of the full error message is: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The TCP/IP connection to the host has failed. java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect How could I use the ODBC Data Source manager to make this connection? Thanks!
