Any thoughts on how to do > this? BTW Win 98 SE. MTIA Ed Here's a link to a page with all the info you need. http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/renamers/ Note that one of their recommendations is the freeware Irfanview which I highly recommend for this and lots of other graphics viewing/manipulation tasks. You can bulk rename in all sorts of ways and move the images to a new folder at the same time. The web site contains a page with full instructions on how to do it. -- Lexacorp Ltd http://www.lexacorp.com.pg Information Technology Consultancy, Software Development,System Support. _______________________________________________ dba-Tech mailing list dba-Tech at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/dba-tech Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
