[dba-Tech] File Sharing Problem

Hi Tina,

Thanks for your input. I found that if I copy the images directly from
the camera's memory card by using Windows Explorer and just copying
them where I want them I don't have any problems sharing them on the
other system. But if I transfer them by using the Canon supplied
software, I do have the problem. And if I rotate them manually and
then resave the rotated file, they are OK too. It's a kludgy
workaround, but at least I have a work around. I only take about 10%
or so pictures in vertical orientation so its not that huge of a
problem I guess.

I think there is a problem with the Canon transfer utility program.
Perhaps it's really a "feature" and I just don't realize it though
