Agreed. I looked on line and found the camera for $180. And I looked at the specs on the printer and they were pretty dismal. Not a bad printer but like all of the low end printers they just seem like an vehicle to sell ink cartridges. But Dell gave me this $75 coupon so I think I'll get the laser printer. Had one for years (NEC Superscript) and loved it. We don't have a laser right now. Just 6 ink jets (including the one in the garage and the hosed AIO). I do very little color. And that $75 is burning a hole in my pocket. :o) Rocky -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Gary Kjos Sent: Thursday, December 07, 2006 10:00 AM To: Discussion of Hardware and Software issues Subject: Re: [dba-Tech] My New Piece of Cra...I mean, Printer Wow. And you are about to get another free Canon printer for buying the new camera? I think you need to start looking at free printers as a NEGATIVE instead of a positive attribute of a deal. My view of getting free stuff that I don't realy want is that I already have TOO MUCH STUFF in my house and I really shouldn't be bringing in more unless it is something I really really need.
