I really should just get the last 320g raid volume I built in at the c: location, then do another dual boot of Windows 2003, with the second install on the new raid c: drive. Reinstall everything, then go on with my life. Really the apps are mostly just SQL Server and a handful of other things. This 2003 install is only 3 weeks old now, how much stuff can be out there? ;-) John W. Not 100% though. The best I've used recently is CA's DNA. I have moved some applications manually by moving the folder and then redirecting the references in the registry to point to them. A find and replace utility for the registry helps a lot. Before doing that I would definitely backup the registry and copy rather than move the application's folder. Then just rename the app's original folder. Edit the registry and if all fails restore your backup and rename the original folder. I would suggest uninstalling the app and reinstalling to the new drive though. I think you would come out ahead time wise. Hopefully someone else has a better answer for you. -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of JWColby 3) And REALLY reaching here, migrate all the software stored on my D: drive onto that C: drive. _______________________________________________ dba-Tech mailing list dba-Tech at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/dba-tech Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
