John, Hero, schmero, I've had the laptop now for 9 days! Sheesh! What kind of "expert" takes 9 days to fix something...and I still didn't get that DVD to work. Ah, me. I can certainly urge my friend's daughter to retain all CDs that come with the laptop in any future laptop acquisitions.
