[dba-Tech] FW: Outlook reinstall

This is good to know as I rave Office 2003 on my main box and need Access
2000.  But to install IIRC I have to uninstall 2003, and install 2000 and
THEN 2003.  Which I've been reluctant to do because I'm so tied to OL now.

I know - "couldn't there just be a command to backup Outlook data?! Outlook
knows where to look for crying out loud!"

I say it all the time. One of these days I'll have some time and write some
code to do this - yeah right.

I'm probably going to have to reinstall Outlook -- the translator files have
been corrupted and I'm trying to export data to an Access data and it just
can't do it. 

I don't mind losing settings or rules -- that sort of thing, but will
reinstalling destroy the mail in my pst folders and entries in my address
book? Or will the installation process maintain them?
