[dba-Tech] Guest account

I always disable the guest account in WinXP. I am just setting up a new Dell
laptop that came with the Dell Network Assistant so I decided to run it and
see what it would do. The very firs thing it did was ask me to turn on the
Guest account because "having it disabled can cause file sharing problems".
 
Has anyone experienced problems by having the guest account disabled? Or
know specifically why they want it enabled?
