It's disabled on every PC I use, and on all the PCs at work, I've never seen anything about any sharing issues with it. Maybe it's a Dell thing. I am just setting up a new Dell laptop that came with the Dell Network Assistant so I decided to run it and see what it would do. The very firs thing it did was ask me to turn on the Guest account because "having it disabled can cause file sharing problems". Has anyone experienced problems by having the guest account disabled? Or know specifically why they want it enabled?
