Rocky, A good guideline for basic web design - design to the lowest common denominator. Not all computers will have the fonts you have. You can usually assume that the standard windows and Mac fonts are installed. If you want to use a font for stylistic reasons you need to post it in a format that doesn't require the user to have the font installed. Some examples would be .jpg, .gif, .png, .pdf, .swf Send us a link and maybe we can figure out the sound issue. -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Rocky Smolin at Beach Access Software Sent: Sunday, March 18, 2007 8:01 PM To: List Subject: [dba-Tech] Web Site Problem Dear List: Two questions someone may know the answer to. I'm using Front Page 2003 BTW: 1) I have a text box with some text in a non-standard font. So on another machine which doesn't have that font, it defaults to like Times New Roman. Is there some way to fix it so that it displays in this font I picked? 2) I have a hyperlink to a wav file. The link works in IE but not in Firefox. Does anyone know how to liven this link in Firefox.
