Kaboodle! That's the other one I was thinking of. I just found the shortcut on my desktop :-P It's a freebie, I'm sure of it. I'm using the 30 day trial of Ipswitch's WhatsUp Gold, which I think someone here recently recommended. http://www.ipswitch.com/products/whatsup/index.asp It has definitely helped to pare down the scope of the problem. I've got the DSL service eliminated as a source of the problem (which is what their IT was pointing the finger at) and have it down to an issue of the terminal server, VPN or a local PC. IMO its the vpn but I have to prove it before I say it ;o) Anyhow, its easy to set up and definitely can help you pinpoint the area of concern. Plus its free for 30 days.
