OK, enough is enough... I thought I was seeing things when I noticed that IE7 was using over 500mb of RAM last week, tonight it's using 1gb. I've only got 4 tabs open, and it's not like I'm running complex weather calculations in java programs or anything... Why is it doing this? I have 2gb of RAM, but when IE is using more than half of it, it starts to get a bit slow. I don't think it's anything bad, because I only reinstalled Windows at Easter, and I put on fully updated version of a firewall, antivirus and antispyware before I let it loose on the internet. I even ran it with al lthe addons disabled, and it still eats memory. I was thinking of getting more memory for the PC anyway, but that was for performance in games, not for IE! Something isn't right here... Jon
