Susan, If you don't already have one, get a router / firewall. They range from $50 to $200. The $50 end will probably suffice. A router is the single most important thing you can do to protect your system from viruses. As a bonus, with a router there will likely be no "internet setup". I have had cable internet for about 6 years and never had to use the silly disk to do anything. Plug in the router, plug your computer into the router and go. John W.
