[dba-Tech] setup wizard

Susan,

If you don't already have one, get a router / firewall. They range from $50
to $200. The $50 end will probably suffice. A router is the single most
important thing you can do to protect your system from viruses. As a bonus,
with a router there will likely be no "internet setup". I have had cable
internet for about 6 years and never had to use the silly disk to do
anything. Plug in the router, plug your computer into the router and go.

Subject: [dba-Tech] setup wizard

My Internet connection is cable. I only have one system hooked in. I need to
take this system offline, reformat, and start over. I'm wondering if the
Setup Wizard will move my internet connection settings to the other system?
Am I going to get that lucky? I think I can set the other system up manually
if necessary, but the wizard would certainly be easier.
