Here's a home network with six nodes, four running Win, one running Ubuntu desktop, and now a new one running Ubuntu server. From the Ubuntu desktop node, I can ping the new Ubuntu server node by IP address and by name. From the Windows nodes, though, I can ping it /by IP address only/. Oy. What am I missing?
