Interesting article (I assume that Firefox is using the same keys?) but doesn't say what happens if I mass delete al those keys. Many of them no longer link to active sites. A couple I tried link to dangerous sites. I've never gone along with the concept. My applications use INI files in the application directory for all common settings and files in %AppData\Local\myAppName for user specific settings if necessary. Your History Registry folder is used by IE.
