Whatever brand you buy (and I tend to go with Fantom drives) I would recommend getting those with a FireWire interface rather than USB, even better, FireWire 2. The reason I suggest this is that with FireWire you can daisy chain them together. You only need one FireWire port on the host machine and all the drives run off it. No need to use up all your machines USB ports or to invest in USB hubs. FireWire 2 gives you up to 800MBS throughput.
