[dba-Tech] Spam level

Outlook is pretty good at recognising spam, and my ISP tags a lot of messages as spam, but still delivers them (which is how I like it), they just appear in my junk mail folder. I very rarely get any proper spam in my Inbox.

One weird thing that my ISP does is to email me to tell me that they've stopped an email (which is obviously spam) that contained a virus. I don't care, just stop them, don't tell me about it! :-)

Hello Guys,

I am shocked when I see that people are still bothered - or even notice - spam email.

I experience close to 0% spam in my gmail inbox.

I occasionally look in the spam folder and usually see 800 - 1000 or more emails, but I often do not look there for 6 months in a row.  IOW, I almost never see spam email.

For those that do not use email, is spam still an issue?  How do you filter it?  Does it drive you crazy?
