A truly brilliant man...waded through one of his books many years ago. (I
think it was for some college paper, 30 or 40 years ago.)

Quotes: "the medium is the message" and "the global village". He sure
understood the internet long before it was.

Today marks the 100th anniversary of Marshall's birth. He was a certifiable
nut-case but also a very brilliant thinker. I've read all his books and I
pretend to think that I understood what he wrote. He surely influenced me,
big time.

RIP Marshall McLuhan.
