Alpha Can Roll OutWritten by Kay Ewbank Tuesday, 24 July 2012 11:17

RIM <http://www.i-programmer.info/news/83/4547.html#> has updated the
BlackBerry Dev Alpha software so you can now submit your BlackBerry 10 apps
into BlackBerry App <http://www.i-programmer.info/news/83/4547.html#>World.
While the perilous state of RIM and BlackBerry might make you wonder if
this is worth doing, it would mean you’re working towards earning the
$10,000 RIM has promised every developer who builds a "certified" app for
the platform.

When RIM rolled out the BlackBerry 10 at BlackBerry World in May the big
news for devs<http://www.i-programmer.info/news/83-mobliephone/4164-blackberry-promises-10000-for-an-app.html>
was a guaranteed income of $10k for apps developed for the new platform.
Anyone who decided to take up RIM's offer can now submit BlackBerry 10 apps
to the App World <https://appworld.blackberry.com/isvportal>.
