Hi Martin: I agree, that it is just a round about method for the management to do what they have already planned to do anyway...it is just a method to encourage employees to be more accepting of that chance. They have a reduced budget and this is one of the easier options. I am sure they could have cut a lot of stuff before pay cuts.
