Hi All: It seems that many of our routers compromised right from the beginning. The problem is that issues are pointed out but the companies supposedly take action, provide a new firmware and the router is still compromised. The question that has to be asked is is this just poor programming or intentional for some reason? http://arstechnica.com/security/2014/04/easter-egg-dsl-router-patch-merely-hides-backdoor-instead-of-closing-it These backdoor errors seem to affect a number of models of Netgear, Cisco and Linksys. For those concerned and have a compromised router there is a number of open source solutions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wireless_router_firmware_projects Jim
