Good tip. What is the actual filename of the 32-bit ODBC Manager? And/or what subfolder is it in? I think I'll make a shortcut to it, following your lead.

It's because it's Access 32-bit talking to it. The fact that it is talking to a 64-bit back end doesn't matter.
