I have surface pro 2. Nothing stored on it. I need to recover as much disc space as I can. At least 10gb. Any ideas?

Hi Tina
I was too fast (or slow).
You are 100% correct, though the issue was not specifically impacting mice but "some USB devices":

Hi Tina
That's not it.
The current mouse drivers of Windows are dated 2006-06-21.

Okay, got a call from Jeanne this morning, wondering what magic I had done overnight. The mouse is working.
I'm betting a new Windows 10 update came through and fixed the problem.
Good grief!
