With the surface you can insert a 32gb SD card, about $12, and redirect your documents etc to store on it.
I had to do use a USB flash drive with win 8 tablets that had no SD slot in order to upgrade to 10.

I have surface pro 2. Nothing stored on it. I need to recover as much disc space as I can. At least 10gb. Any ideas?

The current mouse drivers of Windows are dated 2006-06-21.
