I didn't know there was help for it but the help they're offering according
to this article would have taken a tech pro to effect.

 

I tried a lot of different things but finally pulled her hard drive,
interfaced it to my comp with an IDE gadget and copied off all of her docs,
data, email, etc.  Then fresh install, reloaded Office, Avast (which I'm now
considering deleting in favor of Windows' AV (she's running W10 obviously),
and got her back in business.

 

What a PITA though.

 

So if you haven't done the 4/10 upgrade, and have Avast loaded, you might
consider unloading it.
