[dba-Tech] Stupid Phones, anyone?

Almost everyone has a smart phone here, the phone has replaced newspapers
as a way to "hide" on the subway. Frankly, I'm surprised more folks aren't
hit by cars or bikes since their eyes are on the phone and they just cross
the street and trust they won't get hit.
