[dba-Tech] NetGear NightHawk Router - Decision

First, thanks for all the help, everyone.
Second, I have come to the conclusion that this particular router is
defective.
Third, I found a new ASUS RT-N66R router on Amazon and bought it. It is
due to arrive Monday. I'll install it, keeping the consistency I like to
have in my equipment.
Once it is here and up and running, I'll come back here to let you know.
Now, to satisfy my own curiosity, I'm looking to learn what the defect
is - circuit, connector, conductor, electronic unit - what?
