[dba-Tech] Chromebook horror

In the spirit of experimentation I thought I'd buy a Chromebook. I did
manage to connect it to my wifi, and that's when the horrors began. I
couldn't remember my Google password and so logged in as a guest, and now I
can't escape that login. (I have recovered my Google password, but cannot
sign in as me because I've condemned myself to Guest.)
I watched a video about how to install Windows 10 on a Chromebook. The
vidBelarc works only on Windows and the Settings button doesn't seem to
have a Windows-like option that will tell you what's inside, so how can I
learn this? I can't even find the model number. All I know is that it's
made by HP and the salesperson said it's got 32 gigs, but that person -
obviously untrained - claimed it was 32 gigs of RAM, which was the reason
I bought it. Idiot me; it must mean that it contains a 32 GB hard disk and
who knows, maybe 4GB of RAM. No way I can know without figuring out
Chrome's equivalent of Belarc Advisor or Computer.
If I can, I will convert this to a Windows 10 machine, run Belarc and see
what I've been suckered into buying, and then decide what to do with it.
Maybe I'll give it to Nellie's, a shelter for abused women in the
neighbourhood, to which I donate $10 a month -- and then go buy a serious
laptop.
I got suckered by price. My bad.
