[dba-Tech] Linux sign-in question

Is there a way to remove my sign-in? This notebook never moves from its
location on my desk, and I live alone, so security is not a problem. It
just frustrates me that if I leave the keyboard untouched for a few
minutes, I have to sign in again. I just want to move the mouse to get back
in. Or, having set it up with a password, am I forced to live with this?
