Hi Arthur,

No, you don't need MS SQL 2005 and VS2005.

.sln is a VS2008 solution and we use only them in our Northwind.NET project.

I must say I have never used MS SQL solutions nor for MS SQL 2005 nor for MS SQL 2008.
