BootCamp with speedy SSD should be good enough for me I expect as I'm mainly planning to do MS Windows (.NET) development with iPhone/iPad "clones" of WinPhone/Windows 8 tables/WinRT apps..
We will see - I will try to get a modern Mac laptop till the end of this year if my custom software development  business will go well...
