Re: 1. - yep, that works. Except I was hoping that would be object
dependent - that is when in the design view of a form I almost always want
the property sheet on - for queries almost always off. If I can remember to
close the property sheet on the form before opening a query that would
work. Except I'm trading off closing it in the query for closing it in the
form. And 1/2 the time I'm opening a query it's from the property sheet in
the form. Oh well, can't have everything, I guess.
Re: 2. Forgot to say that I'm using Access 2010. Where is this 'tool
gallery' of which you speak? :o) Is it not in 2010?
