[AccessD] [EXTERNAL] A Couple of Settings

I don't have a copy of Access 2010 handy (and neither should you, it's out of support!)

However, it is still much the same. I'm talking about the 'Controls' section of the ribbon in the Form Design ribbon.
You know, where you click to add a new button (or other control)
If you click the little down arrow at the bottom of the scrollbar next to the controls, it will show some additional commands:
Set Control Defaults
Use Control Wizards
ActiveX Controls

Re: 1. - yep, that works. Except I was hoping that would be object dependent - that is when in the design view of a form I almost always want the property sheet on - for queries almost always off. If I can remember to close the property sheet on the form before opening a query that would work. Except I'm trading off closing it in the query for closing it in the form. And 1/2 the time I'm opening a query it's from the property sheet in the form. Oh well, can't have everything, I guess.

Re: 2. Forgot to say that I'm using Access 2010. Where is this 'tool gallery' of which you speak? :o) Is it not in 2010?

Thanks and regards,

Rocky
