One of my friends took digital pictures of himself, or more likely just scanned some pics in (thinking about it, were digital cameras available in 1996?) and put them into the game, so when we played multi-player at college, every other player had his face, that was amusing :-) Jon -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Rocky Smolin - Beach Access Software Sent: 29 January 2006 15:53 To: Discussion of Hardware and Software issues Subject: Re: [dba-Tech] I'm Doomed I had a patch once called evil Barney. One of the monsters was replaced by Barney. You got to blow him apart over and over. Had a pre-schooler at the time and had that dam Barney song going in the house all the time. It was a very satisfying patch. One of the things that keeps the game going for me is that people can make their own maps. So there's hundreds of levels and dozens of total conversions you can download from the Web - some of which are quite beautiful and creative.
